KGF Design offers a wide range of design services and products for new construction and remodeling projects.  Standard, traditional, and state of the art products and cutting-edge design for the kitchen, bath, and other rooms of the home satisfy a variety of clientele. 

Kathryn G. Focke, CKD, the owner and lead designer has an extensive background in design and construction.  Her projects have included homes in Florida, Colorado (Denver, Aspen, and Vail) and Kansas (Wichita, Manhattan, and the surrounding areas).  She was a designer/project manager at the Colbert Hills Founders Villas.  Located on the senic Colbert Hills Golf Course, these villas are the highest valued properties in Manhattan, with construction costs from $990,000 to $1,800,000.

As a Certified Kitchen Designer, Kathryn is a member of an elite group of kitchen professionals with many years of experience.  She is the only NBKA Certified Kitchen Designer in the Manhattan area.   Certification by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) requires a minimum of 7 years on-the-job experience, referrals from industry professionals and clients, and passing a rigorous exam.  This also requires the completion of ongoing continuing education to maintain the certification.  Kathryn has extensive knowledge in building codes, construction, mechanical, electrical systems, and environmental regulations.  Her work with homeowners, custom builders, subcontractors, and other designers has provided her with experience that most interior designers and decorators do not have.  This gives her the unique perspective of being able to integrate her design with the entire project.
